North Georgia Ruins Balaam’s Head Coaching Debut, Drops West Georgia 3-2

There must have been mixed emotions swirling in both team huddles as the women of North Georgia prepared to take on West Georgia in Carrollton last night.

Newly minted West Georgia head coach Stacey Balaam could look down the line and see a North Georgia team packed with players she was responsible for recruiting over recent years during her tenure as assistant to North Georgia head coach Chris Adams.

And no doubt, the pressure was on Adams and those Nighthawks to make sure that Balaam’s coaching debut at West Georgia did not go well.
